Some Comments on Alert Offspring:
Everyone who meets her loves her, the same as Mr. Alert. Not only a beautiful horse, but a true friend, a comedian, a 1000 pound Yellow Lab who pulls a cart! - Anna Paquin We LOVE her. Her temperament is awesome. Quiet, loves people, very easy to train. Could not be better! She is superb. I think she will be tall. She is a really big girl already.- Dannise Ray We've ridden him more hunt seat and have schooled him over low jumps. He's got a puppy dog personality and wants to be included in everything, he'd love to be in your lap! he's very playful! - Lennie Randall He is a good looking and good natured horse and very people oriented. He is also quite intelligent. When I weaned him I worked some with him on the difference of walk and trot on the lead line and he picked up immediately what I was asking. He also loads without hesitation. When I was leading him around during weaning time I sat down on the tire of a car trailer while he grazed and he decided to jump on, walk around and jump off of the trailer and found it fun enough to do it several (3 or 4) times before I decided that was enough. I have a water hole in the creek for the horses to drink out of and he often wades in to his chest just to stomp around and splash. - Larry Ash My Alert daughter is a palomino sabino - with an almost white wavy mane. She has a lovely head, an excellent length of neck, is deep bodied with balanced, ground covering motion - a floater. - Marilyn R. Blahun Amos was the most beautiful foal I have ever seen of any breed or any color. . . . Andy looked like a 100% brunk bred government foal and I just said SOLD when can I wire you the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... Andy is about the best conformed horse I have in my barn for my tastes. . . . I LOVE the temperaments on both boys. They came to us knowing nothing and they would jump through fire for us. The Andy babies I have had and seen are amazing and solidifies that bloodline for me. I would have no problem owning Mr. Alert from what I see here and what others tell me about their Alert babies, He throws one heck of a mind and that is worth a lot to me. - Lynn Petersen "Caesar" was special from the day he was born. He has a kind, generous nature and is a delight to watch grow. He has that "old soul" persona about him just like his dam, King Blaze Mint. In addition to his expressive personality, Caesar is quite colorful with four white socks, large blaze with white chin and a partial blue eye. He is one cool looking guy and knows it; carrying himself very upheaded and with pride and such balanced motion off both ends. What luck I had to get this boy!! - Jennifer Monroe Having owned a grandson of Mr. Alert, I can attest to the fact that the trademark Mr. Alert disposition is not just limited to his immediate offspring. "Lucas" was always sane, extremely intelligent, and completely people oriented. He was so quick to learn and always retained his lessons without the need for repetition. Even if the lesson took place only once or twice and was not repeated for several months, he never forgot! Yet he was always forgiving of mistakes. . . Regardless of color, Alert offspring and grandget are definitely worth their weight in gold for their excellent minds alone! I wish you THE best of luck with Mr. Alert!- Nancy Castle I would like to be one of those who help to break the barriers between breeds and show the rest of the horse world that the Morgan has a great reputation for a reason. I have already begun my mission when I sold a Warlock's Anastasia X Robbi Sue's Mr Alert son to Joe Jackmovich of South Dakota for his own ranch horse. He manages a 10,000 acre cattle ranch and has been a staunch QH man for years. After he purchased this Morgan gelding from me, he now tells every one he sees that he will never have anything but a Morgan. He is constantly telling me about how impressed he is with this gelding's size, speed and, most of all, his Morgan brains. - Larry Ash I LOVE this guy (Alert son WRP Santana White Gold), Gold has the best work ethic I have ever had in a horse!! The harder the work the more he puts into it. He did take Reserve World Champion Dressage at first level separated from the World Champion by a mere 0.4 of a point!!!!! He was also the Regional champion at the Wheat state Morgan horse show in Kansas(boy that is a drive), and has several horse of the year in 2006 with the USEF. He was the first perlino to ever show at nationals last year were he was 5th in the world training level and 4th in the World in Trail. (he loves trail). And he was back again as the only representative of the perlinos/ cremellos this year with more people recognizing him and his obvious talent.- Lisa Simmons About Oregon Chantilly Lace: Mr. Alert, a buckskin, stamps his get with his loving, mellow disposition with pretty head and athleticism. This mare is all of that. Started under saddle this Very correct western type mare is a fantastic halter winner over and over in open competition. She is #10 in the AMHA open competition list. Smart, easy, so gorgeous. smooth, Trainer's dream! Loves to show. She is quiet under saddle!! - Linda Hastings |
